EVS IN UNIVERSITY OF MURCIA

We are looking for four volunteers to participate in a 6 months EVS project "EVS  in University of Murcia", during the period from the febrary 2017 until the 30th of July 2017. The project, which activities are focused on disabily, social inclusion, sport and coordinate university events is located in Murcia (Spain).

DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION

The University of Murcia is a leading institution, both the number of enrolled students with disabilities, whose number has grown exponentially in recent years, and the number of volunteers and volunteer projects and solidarity, which manages. Within the University of Murcia, the service responsible for managing both is Attention to Diversity and Volunteerism (ADyV) having a history of more than twenty years.

ADyV manages and disseminates the University Volunteers Programme (PVU), which consists of the annual supply of social volunteer projects, cultural, environmental, sports, international cooperation and development at the University.

In addition also coordinates the European Voluntary Service program (EVS), volunteer training, recognition of credits for activities of solidarity and volunteering, the program shared accommodations with Seniors and People with Intellectual Disabilities, the Time Bank University Murcia and attention to students with disabilities.
